Dread Progress- 6 months

It's been 6 months already! Things are really starting to get going now, but it's really not that easy to tell in pictures. I'll post them anyhow:).

Hello I'm a new follower of yours and I also live in Georgia. I've slowly been going no 'poo and was wondering something. Does no 'pooing help your hair dread? How do you start?
Thanks Lisha

When you are letting your hair dread, or planning on making dreads, it's important to use something that won't leave residue on your hair. So you have to either buy special shampoos or use baking soda. The residue from conventional shampoos can get trapped inside of your dreads and cause odor issues.
And for me, when I started dreading I simply stopped doing anything to my hair except for washing it. I don't comb it, brush it, or run my fingers through it at all.
I like dreadlockssite.com for dread info:).
